2014 (September 11th Anniversary Interfaith Walk)

Once again a beautiful gathering, at our shorter 2014 Walk, in Cobble Hill Brooklyn! 🙂

The summer of 2014 has been full of challenges to our mutual understanding. But we refuse to be enemies. Though some of us work on social justice issues, this is not a peace march, and there are no signs– we walk together in solidarity and focus on peace in our local relations. This year we visited three houses of worship along Court Street in Brooklyn. A) KANE STREET SYNAGOGUE (Congregation Baith Israel Anshei Emes ) at 236 Kane St. near Court Street; and proceed to: B) SAINT PAUL & SAINT AGNES (One Parish Two Churches) 234 Congress Street; Also near Court Street and then to: C) MASJID DAWOOD (Islamic Mission of America) 143 State Street (btwn Court and Clinton).
